This workshop is intended to help people understand why we see the world so differently from each other in many instances. How our different perceptions of the same data creates different subjective versions of reality and these differing realities have a profound impact on how we think, feel and behave.
Armed with this new understanding of how we perceive the world, what can we do differently to ensure we understand each other better and act in ways that create compassion and community instead of conflict. This workshop will take its participants on a whirlwind journey that explores why some people just seem to ‘wind us up’ or ‘push our buttons’ and what we can do about this to create meaningful relationships that can lead ourselves and others to achieve great things!

Lysa Morrison
Lysa likes to describe herself as a people evangelist! All of the work she has done throughout her career and the many different talks and workshops she delivers, are all centred around the premise that we each have and abundance of potential and when that potential is understood, nurtured and harnessed then individuals, teams and businesses can achieve more than they’ve ever dreamed possible. Lysa has been delivering keynote talks, workshops, executive coaching, group facilitation and consultancy to a diverse range of organisations and industries across the UK and Europe for the last 15 years. She holistically brings together key areas of focus such as business strategy, transformation and change management, culture, leadership, strategic talent management, employee engagement, design thinking, ’soft skills’, emotional intelligence and personal development along with her energetic and passionate style to bring the best out of individuals, employees, managers and organisations. Lysa completed her Executive MBA at Newcastle University Business School where she then became an Associate Senior Lecturer specialising in managing change and professional development. Lysa has recently completed a Harvard Business School qualification in Entrepreneurship and is an accredited NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer, an ILM accredited Professional Coach, EMCC Master Coach and Mentor, and a proud TedX speaker.
