What happened to TEDxManchester 2021?

Hi Everyone,

Greetings from the TEDxManchester team. We hope you, your loved ones and colleagues have been able to weather the pandemic reasonably well. It’s hard to believe more than a year has passed since the last TEDxManchester and to consider how different the world is today.

With public venues remaining shut, we’re patiently awaiting their reopening. With millions now being vaccinated, hopefully it’ll be safe again for in-person events later in 2021.

Naturally, we cannot wait to be able to host you again. If nothing else, the pandemic has made us re-appreciate our love for producing TEDxManchester.

In the meantime, we remain busy researching the next speaker line-up so if you have any nominations or ideas please send them here. Every talk submission gets individually researched.

Speaking of TED Talks, we were extremely happy to learn that David Epstein’s TEDxManchester talk was featured on the TED.com homepage in late 2020 and has already been viewed over 2m times..

For now, we sincerely wish you all the very best and will get back in touch again when we have more concrete news about the next TEDxManchester.

Many thanks,

Herb Kim
